Testimonials from Previous
Denver Tango Festivals

January 15, 2006

I just wanted to thank you again, for the most wonderful festivals in May & September. I have attended several other festivals this year, including [X, Y, Z], and still Denver is my top favorite festival. I don't find such a beautiful harmonized dance floor in any other city. In addition to that, if I had not had such wonderful experience in Denver, I might not have traveled to other places after that. I cannot wait to come back in May. It seems too far away. [KK, New York, NY]

I had a great time in Denver and have shared with our Chicago folks some highlights such as the romantic outdoor picnic milonga, the energy-packed alternative milonga, and above all, the VERY friendly and passionate dancers participated in the Denver event!!! Thanks again for organizing such a wonderful event and I'll certainly come back! [JZ, Chicago]

J ust few wards of thanks for organizing the event that cemented again our absolute love and admiration for the dance as well as people that are involved in it. [M & R, Windsor, ON]

W e had a great time! We can hardly wait until Labor Day! Thank you so much for opening an additional room for Sunday. It was nice to have a place to sit and talk with friends as well as dance. We also had room to socialize. We think the dance floor also grew in size. [T & L, Grand Junction, CO]

T hanks again, Tom, for a spectacular weekend and event. I can't praise you enough for what a grand time you provide everyone. FANTASTIC! Every year the experience is better and better for me. [L, Salt Lake City, UT]

T HANK YOU for throwing such a good party. I had a great time and hope to come back for Labor Day. I enjoyed reading your observations. The fact that so many people came from out of state to attend your event is tribute to its quality. I really enjoy Denver as a place to meet up with my tango friends and make new ones. It has a nice relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Memorial Day weekend was very special for me....

Last Labor Day was the first time I traveled out of state to dance and I still remember what a warm welcome you gave me and how nice you were to hook me up with a roommate. Since then many of the same people have visited Portland or I saw them in Buenos Aires and it's so fun to me to have this whole world of tango friends opening up. I also enjoy meeting the people that know me from the internet. [R.O, Portland, OR]

A s an out-of-towner single lady who is not always guaranteed an escort, I really appreciate the hotel venue. It is a great convenience for me that the majority of events is held at the hotel. I don't have to rent a car and find my way or find a ride. I get dressed and go downstairs. Also if I get tired I can slip away and nap in order to return later or retire early. I also welcome the opportunity to get out and see/dance at other venues in a city but not too many. Convenience is number one on my list along with the price. I'm so glad you've been able to negotiate great rates and keep costs reasonable. [O, Memphis]

T hank you Tom, it was a great week-end. On Friday night I had the feeling I was in a milonga in Buenos Aires. [G, San Francisco, CA]

I just had to share... Alex taught some great classes that are very balanced in teaching leader and follower techniques. I wish I could have written down his techniques for leader and follower self defense. They are great techniques that we practiced in class and every dancer should know. His Milonga class helped me tremendously with Trespie.

Again! Brigitta has helped me to think out of the box. She has given me structure for my own creativity. I also found her method of teaching turns in both directions to be very simple to understand and implement. [P. Detroit, MI]

I couldn't have had a better time. Everything was first class [B, KS]
